Business Africa
Africa has always been known to be behind on so many innovations that begin in developed countries of the world.
But when these innovations get to the shores of Africa, they gain ground and become the new status quo, which tells you of the level of Africans’ ability to adapt.
Even with this knowledge, not many companies are willing to do business or extend their operations to Africa, let alone a start-up company like Yellow Relay with its base of operations in France.
Yellow Relay is an international package delivery company created by Bernardo Tribeno and Maxime Boadji to secure package deliveries between France and Africa via its online platform.
Borne of several difficulties faced in conveying packages to African countries due to the lack of established addresses, locations and collection points, Yellow relay found its niche and positioned itself as a leading company in that regard since 2015. A growing company, Yellow Relay has since won the Digital Africa competition, organised by the French Development Agency, with Bpi France and French Tech in November 2017.
This speaks of their impact in the package delivery business, while working within and with the unique challenges Africa faces.
